The OpportunityWe are partnering with organizations in St. Johns that are seeking Help Desk Technicians. Key Responsibilities- Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for manufacturing software and hardware issues.
- Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution and follow-up.
- Assist manufacturing personnel with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of production equipment workstations.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors.
- Perform routine maintenance and support for shop floor printers and scanning devices.
- Train end-users on basic software applications and IT best practices relevant to manufacturing operations.
Recommended Qualifications- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware (e.g., PCs, printers, scanners) and software (e.g., Windows OS, MS Office Suite) issues.
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management best practices.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN) and basic server administration.
- Ability to provide technical support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including support for specialized production software or equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for clear problem-solving and user support.
