The OpportunityWe are partnering with organizations in Lansing that are seeking Help Desk Technicians. Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing software and hardware.
- Resolve IT issues related to production machinery and control systems.
- Document, track, and monitor help desk tickets to ensure timely resolution for manufacturing staff.
- Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access for factory systems.
- Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment on the production floor.
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting for connectivity issues affecting manufacturing operations.
Recommended Qualifications- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA) and their interaction with IT infrastructure.
- Experience supporting specialized manufacturing software (e.g., MES, ERP, CAD/CAM).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices relevant to operational technology (OT) networks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing setting.
