Graphic Designer
Location: Grapevine, TX 76051 (Hybrid Schedule)
Duration: Part-time, freelance. 2-week project.
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to support a short-term freelance project for a team that does not currently have a dedicated design resource. This role will follow a hybrid schedule in Grapevine, TX, and is ideal for someone who enjoys building flexible design systems and setting teams up for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a cohesive design system, including templates and reusable elements, that the internal team can easily manipulate and extend.
Design an initial 11x17 poster for an upcoming event, which will serve as the foundation for additional assets such as flyers, event-day signage, tickets, and related materials.
Ensure all designs are clean, consistent, and scalable across print formats.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear, practical design solutions.
Requirements
A Day in the Life:
Establish visual standards and layout rules that can be reused beyond this project.
Design and refine an event poster, then adapt the system for multiple deliverables.
Prepare organized, editable files and templates for future use.
Top Must-Haves:
Strong experience creating design systems and templates for non-designers to use.
Proven background in print-focused graphic design.
Ability to work independently and move quickly within a tight 2-week timeline.
