About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer skilled in C++ development to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for secure, mission-critical applications. This role involves working in a classified environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality embedded and software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate end-to-end software development activities.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document C++ applications for secure processing systems.
  • Develop new embedded applications and maintain legacy code bases.
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve development workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prototypes and production-ready systems.
  • Troubleshoot defects, enhance system functionality, and resolve issues related to program logic, inputs, outputs, and control flows.
  • Ensure all software meets organizational standards for security, performance, and quality.
  • Prepare documentation, operating instructions, and development reports.


Qualifications

These are required to proceed with a candidate:
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience with C++ programming
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle
  • Ability to debug and maintain software in embedded or low-level environments
  • Experience writing documentation, test cases, and operational instructions


Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have Skills)
  • Bare-metal programming
  • Embedded C/C++ development
  • Hardware driver development
  • Experience with secure systems/software
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience with mission-critical, defense, or aerospace environments
