Assignment Type: Contract Only
Duration: Approximately 9 Months
Role Overview- We are looking for an accomplished Senior Project Manager who brings confidence, clarity, and execution excellence to complex initiatives. This role is well-suited for a delivery leader with deep experience across both Agile and waterfall methodologies, who thrives in fast-moving, highly visible environments.
- You'll own projects from concept through delivery-shaping plans, aligning stakeholders, navigating risk, and driving teams toward meaningful results. The ideal candidate is proactive, decisive, and accountable, with a strong ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team initiatives from planning through execution
- Develop clear project plans, milestones, and deliverables aligned to business objectives
- Drive execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks while resolving cross-organizational obstacles
- Lead work in an Agile delivery environment, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Partner closely with product owners, technical leads, and development teams to prioritize and execute work
- Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage backlogs, track work items, and monitor delivery metrics
- Serve as the central point of communication for stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and decisions
- Mentor and guide team members to support strong delivery practices and continuous improvement
Qualifications- 15+ years of experience managing complex projects or programs
- At least 5 years in Agile delivery
- At least 5 years in traditional waterfall delivery
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale, multi-team initiatives
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management and work tracking
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- PMP certification required
- Scrum Master certification required (CSM or SAFe SM)
- Experience supporting enterprise technology or digital delivery teams
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $70.00 and $80.00 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
