Observability Consultant-SRE
Naperville IL 3 days onsite 2 days remote hybrid model
We are looking to onboard a hands-on Observability Consultant to define and implement an enterprise-wide monitoring and observability strategy across our platforms.
* This role is critical to strengthening our SRE capabilities and operational excellence, with a focus on enabling end-to-end visibility across systems and workflows.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Define and implement observability strategy across AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, AWS Connect, databases, Salesforce, Snowflake, and APIs
- Build and operationalize metrics, SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, and intelligent alerting frameworks - Enable end-to-end observability across application workflows and data pipelines (metrics, logs, traces)
- Drive alert noise reduction and improve incident detection and response effectiveness
- Provide architectural leadership while remaining hands-on in implementation
*Preferred Experience*
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise observability frameworks across metrics, logs, and traces
- Proven track record driving SRE and observability transformations in complex, distributed environments
- Ability to connect platform engineering with business process monitoring for end-to-end visibility
- Experience defining SLIs/SLOs, reliability engineering practices, and modern incident management approaches
- Hands-on expertise building scalable monitoring, alerting, and telemetry pipelines across heterogeneous systems
- We are specifically looking for candidates who bring a strong balance of strategic architecture vision and deep hands-on execution in enterprise observability.
