Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with experience in Agile Scrum methodologies to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in gathering and documenting requirements, supporting development processes, and facilitating communication across teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, have exposure to investment tools, and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and document business requirements for software development and system improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including Product Owners and technical teams, to ensure clear communication of project goals.
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including workflows, process guidelines, and requirements.
Support production and development efforts by addressing technical requirements and resolving issues.
Coordinate project activities, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
Serve as a Scrum Master for designated teams, facilitating Agile practices and supporting process adherence.
Engage with cross-functional teams to provide insights and solutions for investment-related systems.
Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
Utilize tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook to effectively manage tasks and documentation.
Assist with story writing and other Software Development Methodology processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or related roles.
Familiarity with investment tools and systems such as Aladdin, Efront, or related platforms is preferred.
Proven ability to write clear and detailed requirements for technical teams.
Experience in Agile Scrum practices, including serving as a Scrum Master.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information effectively.
Proficiency in tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently, identify issues, and propose solutions in a timely manner.
