Position Overview Citadel Security USA is seeking a reliable and detail oriented Mobile Patrol Officer to provide overnight security coverage at a commercial property in Denver. This position is responsible for conducting scheduled vehicle patrols, inspecting assigned areas, and helping protect client property during evening and overnight hours.
This role is well-suited for individuals who are comfortable working independently, maintaining situational awareness, and making sound decisions while performing patrol duties throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities Mobile Patrol Operations - Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols of assigned properties and surrounding areas
- Travel between designated checkpoints and verifying site security conditions
- Inspect parking lots, perimeter fencing, gates, exterior doors, and restricted access areas
- Ensure buildings and property assets remain secure during non-business hours
- Maintain a consistent and visible security presence
Site Observation & Security Awareness - Monitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, vandalism, theft, or unauthorized access
- Identify safety concerns, maintenance issues, or property damage requiring attention
- Observe changing site conditions and respond appropriately according to post instructions
- Report security concerns promptly through established communication channels
Documentation & Reporting - Complete patrol logs, daily activity reports, and incident documentation accurately
- Record observations, security concerns, and unusual occurrences in a timely manner
- Utilize company reporting platforms and mobile technology as required
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and operations personnel
Professional Response & Customer Service - Respond appropriately to security-related incidents within the scope of assigned duties
- Follow site procedures, client directives, and company policies
- Demonstrate professionalism and good judgment during all interactions
- Maintain confidentiality regarding client operations and property information
Minimum Qualifications - Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license required
- Minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience
- Acceptable driving record with no major violations within the previous five years
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Denver Guard Card
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to remain alert and focused throughout overnight shifts
Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience in mobile patrol, security, field services, or related work
- Experience preparing incident reports and daily activity documentation
- Familiarity with commercial property security operations
- Strong observation, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience using electronic reporting systems or mobile applications
