Job Summary
The Senior SAP PP Consultant will lead production planning, scheduling, and integrated business planning solution design across S/4HANA and SAP IBP within a global manufacturing environment. This role requires deep functional expertise in core PP processes, strong understanding of supply chain planning, and the ability to architect end-to-end planning solutions that connect shop-floor execution with advanced planning capabilities.

Essential Duties
  • Lead full lifecycle S/4HANA PP and SAP IBP implementations, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Conduct workshops with manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams to capture business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Configure and optimize core SAP PP components:
    Master data (Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers)
    MRP & MRP Live
    Production Orders & Process Orders
    Capacity Planning
    Demand Management
    Repetitive Manufacturing
    Shop-floor execution
  • Design and implement SAP IBP capabilities:
    Demand Planning
    Supply Planning
    Inventory Optimization
    S&OP / Integrated Business Planning cycles
    Time-series and order-based planning
  • Ensure seamless integration between IBP and S/4HANA for end-to-end planning and execution.
  • Support manufacturing-specific scenarios:
    Make-to-Stock (MTS)
    Make-to-Order (MTO)
    Engineer-to-Order (ETO)
    Subcontracting & external processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, FI/CO, QM, EWM) to ensure integrated business flows.
  • Prepare functional specs for RICEFW objects and work closely with ABAP and integration teams.
  • Lead testing cycles: unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
  • Support data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Ensure alignment with SAP Activate methodology and S/4HANA/IBP best practices.

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's Degree required or
  • Associate's Degree with 20+ years of experience required
  • 12+ years of hands-on SAP PP experience required
  • 2-3 full-cycle S/4HANA PP implementations, ideally in manufacturing required
  • Hands-on SAP IBP implementation experience (at least one full cycle) required

General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of: Production planning & scheduling, Demand and supply planning, S&OP cycles, MRP & capacity planning, Integration with procurement, sales, finance, and quality
  • Expertise in: S/4HANA Fiori apps, MRP Live, IBP configuration & planning operators, Batch management, IDocs/EDI
  • Experience working in multi-plant, global manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications Preferred
  • Experience with IBP Control Tower, Response & Supply, or Inventory Optimization preferred
  • Exposure to IBP, MES/MII, or WM integration preferred
  • SAP PP or IBP certification preferred
  • Experience with global template design and rollouts preferred
  • Experience with multi plant operations preferred
  • Experience with complex BOM and routing structures preferred
  • Experience with integration of planning (IBP) with real time execution(S/4 Hana) preferred

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Salary Range: $160,000-$220,000
