Genesis10 is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst - Remote position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Cary, IL. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This is an individual contributor role focused on evaluating and implementing pricing strategies and models based on current business and competitive market dynamics. The ideal candidate will conduct market research, perform competitive analysis, and partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to correctly position the product portfolio. This position requires independent judgment, critical thinking, and a process-oriented mindset while working with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities: - Assist in evaluating and implementing pricing strategies and models
- Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis
- Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction
- Partner with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio
- Establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements
- Evaluate opportunities to monetize products and create upsell opportunities
- Project the impact of pricing changes, individual promotions, and rebate programs on revenue
- Create and administer pricing databases and coordinate implementation of pricing proposals
- Perform special projects and research on contracts and pricing
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of experience OR a High School Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience
- High level of Excel expertise is a must have
- Independent critical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent multitasking and communication habits
- Ability to work core hours between 8AM-4PM CST
Desired skills: - Model N experience
- Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or SharePoint
Pay range: $27.24 - $37.24 per hour
