Job Title: Process Governance Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC | Hybrid 3x/week | 550 S Tryon
Contract Length: 8+ months
Rate: $45-50/hr

Top Requirements:3+ years' experience in governance, policy documentation, or compliance process improvement.Experience in process mapping and gap analysis for compliance procedures.Strong writing, communication, and documentation skills.Understanding of BSA/AML/KYC processes in large banking environments.Proficiency in Excel and Word.Plusses:Familiarity with CDD/EDD and risk-based onboarding programs.SharePoint experience.Job Summary:The Process Governance Analyst will support the team's efforts in documenting, reviewing, and updating onboarding processes to ensure compliance with new regulations. This role involves analyzing current procedures, drafting process change documents, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure operational alignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in policy documentation and process improvement within a large financial institution.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Analyze and inventory current onboarding processes for gaps.
- Review new compliance requirements and assess operational impacts.
- Draft plain-language process change documents for review.
- Propose updates to controls, governance documentation, and procedures.
- Collaborate with developers to translate business needs into technical language.
- Support documentation efforts using OpenText, SharePoint, and other tools.
