Business Systems Analyst

Introduction:

The Business Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in partnering with the Product Owner, finance leaders, and internal users to translate business needs into system requirements, product priorities, process improvements, and delivery plans. This position will support the maintenance, enhancement, integration, and continuous improvement of PeopleSoft Finance capabilities and related corporate finance processes.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Product Owner to understand the needs of finance leaders, business stakeholders, and internal users
• Analyze, maintain, enhance, and integrate PeopleSoft Finance capabilities and related finance systems
• Build, document, and continuously improve complex finance business processes
• Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, and functional requirements
• Facilitate backlog refinement and support sprint planning
• Develop test strategies, test scenarios, and test scripts
• Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing
• Review test results and confirm that changes meet business requirements
• Support PeopleSoft Finance configuration and functional administration activities
• Provide post-implementation support and end-user training
• Conduct descriptive and diagnostic data analysis to inform business decisions
• Create working system prototypes and process models
• Maintain accurate documentation of business processes and requirements
