Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Zeeland seeking Process Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Design and implement process control strategies and systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new products and processes.
• Monitor process performance through data analysis and statistical process control.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, flowcharts, and operating procedures.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for existing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
• Strong data analysis skills, including experience with statistical process control (SPC) and process simulation software.
• Demonstrated experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis
• Project management experience, particularly in a manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with simulation software for process modeling
