The OpportunityWe are collaborating with multiple companies in Hudsonville seeking experienced Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Design, develop, and implement new production processes and equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Monitor key process performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes into production.
- Implement and maintain process control systems to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Perform process simulations and modeling to predict and optimize process behavior.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using tools like Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
- Experience with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex process issues.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python) for statistical process control and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with automation and control systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, DCS)
- Project management experience, including leading cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of GxP regulations and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., pharma, biotech, medical device)
