SNOW Functional BA

Overview:

We are seeking a Functional Business Analyst with strong ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM experience to clean up, refine, and manage existing backlogs while supporting ongoing ServiceNow enhancements. This is a functional role focused on requirements, backlog clarity, and stakeholder alignment (no development).

Responsibilities

Clean up and rationalize large ServiceNow backlogs
Review, rewrite, and standardize user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
Partner with IT, HR, Security, Facilities, and Operations to gather functional and non-functional requirements
Analyze current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) processes
Facilitate backlog grooming, workshops, and design sessions
Translate business needs into ServiceNow-ready documentation
Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Track requirements through delivery

Required Experience (Hard Requirements)

Hands-on ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM experience (required)
Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Discovery, and ITOM workflows
Experience writing high-quality ServiceNow user stories and acceptance criteria
Understanding of ServiceNow best practices and platform standards
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Preferred

Experience with ITBM/SPM, HRSD, or CSM
Healthcare industry experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
3–5 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst or ServiceNow Analyst
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Candidates without ITSM and ITOM experience will not be considered.
