Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on metrology equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair measurement equipment and systems.
• Develop and maintain calibration procedures and documentation.
• Conduct measurement system analysis (MSA) including Gauge R&R studies.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on measurement techniques.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, performing dimensional inspections.
• Proficient in the use of various metrology tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Ability to perform gauge calibration and maintain calibration records.
