Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead an enterprise-wide initiative for a prominent organization in the utilities/infrastructure industry. This position focuses on strategic oversight, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple workstreams while maintaining clear communication with executive leadership and internal stakeholders. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in Chino, California.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for a comprehensive enterprise-wide program, ensuring alignment across various workstreams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for communications with the C-Suite, Board members, and internal teams, fostering transparency and collaboration.
Coordinate and monitor project milestones, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to objectives.
Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to optimize program efficiency.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address challenges and align workstreams with overall program goals.
Conduct regular progress reviews and provide detailed reports to stakeholders on project status and outcomes.
Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance project processes and promote adaptability.
Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with organizational standards and protocols.
Leverage tools like Atlassian Jira to track progress, assign tasks, and maintain clear visibility of project activities.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management with a proven track record of leading complex initiatives.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in project environments.
PMP certification is required, demonstrating expertise in project management principles.
Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for tracking and managing project tasks.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executives and diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure program success.
Familiarity with utilities/infrastructure industry projects is highly desirable.
