The OpportunityWe are collaborating with multiple companies in Newaygo seeking experienced Electrical Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, and systems for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery and control systems.
- Implements and maintains electrical safety standards and procedures in the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new electrical systems and optimize existing ones.
- Develops and maintains electrical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Participates in the selection, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) for electrical system design and schematics.
- Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with power distribution, motor controls, and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with robotics or automation systems.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, C++).
- Certified in Functional Safety (e.g., TV Rheinland Functional Safety Engineer).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
