Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, and systems for manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues in production machinery and control systems.
  • Implements and maintains electrical safety standards and procedures in the manufacturing facility.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate new electrical systems and optimize existing ones.
  • Develops and maintains electrical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  • Participates in the selection, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) for electrical system design and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
  • Experience with power distribution, motor controls, and industrial automation.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with robotics or automation systems.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, C++).
  • Certified in Functional Safety (e.g., TV Rheinland Functional Safety Engineer).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
