Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this long-term contract role, you will provide hands-on technical support to ensure smooth operations across various devices and platforms. Your work will directly impact the functionality of systems supporting thousands of users, requiring a proactive approach and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Conduct data migrations from older systems to updated platforms, such as Windows 7 to Windows 10 and older Mac devices to newer models.
Oversee the PC refresh process, deploying and configuring over 1,000 computers before the new academic term begins.
Provide exceptional customer service while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for users.
Utilize tools such as LANsweeper to configure and manage computers effectively.
Perform imaging and deployment tasks for Dell, HP, iMacs, and MacBooks.
Support Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and other enterprise applications, ensuring seamless functionality.
Manage service requests using ServiceNow, including assigning tasks and tracking progress.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a diverse environment of Windows (80%), Mac (15%), and limited Linux systems.
Address up to six tickets daily, ensuring timely resolution for end-users.
Maintain and support approximately 10,000 users within the Westwood area.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a desktop support or similar technical role.
Proficiency in computer imaging and deployment processes, including Microsoft SCCM.
Strong knowledge of Windows workstations, including Windows 10.
Familiarity with Apple products, including iMacs, MacBooks, and iOS devices.
Experience with imaging technologies and tools for both Windows and Mac systems.
Ability to work onsite 40 hours per week without weekend or on-call support.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
