About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in SAP Data & Analytics technologies to help drive a large-scale enterprise transformation from legacy SAP ECC and BW platforms to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
In this role, you will design, develop, configure, and optimize modern data platforms and analytics solutions that support critical business operations across corporate real estate, facilities management, and workplace services. You will work closely with architects, product teams, engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable data solutions that enable advanced reporting, analytics, planning, and decision-making.
The ideal candidate combines deep SAP technical expertise with strong data engineering, integration, and system architecture experience and has successfully delivered multiple end-to-end SAP HANA implementations.
What You'll DoSAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) & Datasphere- Design and implement enterprise-scale SAP Business Data Cloud solutions.
- Build data products, semantic models, and data integration pipelines.
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP enterprise systems.
- Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, governance, and performance processes.
- Partner with business and technical teams to create scalable cloud data architectures.
SAP BW/4HANA- Design, develop, and maintain BW/4HANA data models and reporting structures.
- Build ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and InfoObjects.
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT frameworks, process chains, and data quality controls.
- Optimize query performance and data processing workloads.
- Support data extraction and integration from S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, and third-party platforms.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)- Develop executive dashboards, reports, planning models, and analytics applications.
- Enable self-service analytics and data-driven insights.
- Design forecasting, budgeting, and predictive planning solutions.
- Integrate SAC with BW/4HANA, BDC, Datasphere, S/4HANA, and external systems.
- Implement security, role-based access controls, and governance standards.
- Continuously improve reporting performance and user experience.
Engineering & Collaboration- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive best practices for data architecture, governance, and analytics.
- Participate in architecture reviews, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to modernization initiatives focused on cloud-native SAP data platforms.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of SAP engineering, development, or platform administration experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- 5+ years of experience working with:
- SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)
- SAP BW/4HANA
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- SAP Datasphere
- Experience leading or contributing to at least two full lifecycle SAP HANA/S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong expertise in SAP HANA data modeling and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP enterprise platforms.
- Advanced SQL and ETL/ELT development experience.
- Experience with Python and modern data engineering practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with SAP RISE and cloud-based SAP architectures.
- Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Data Intelligence, and SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience supporting SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA and BW-to-Datasphere/BDC migrations.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and microservices architectures.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker.
- Experience with data migration, reconciliation, and parallel-run strategies.
- Financial services industry experience.
- Experience designing and managing enterprise data products.
- SAP certifications in one or more of the following:
- SAP Business Data Cloud
- SAP BW/4HANA
- SAP Analytics Cloud
- SAP HANA
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with distributed teams.
