Role Overview
An experienced Project Coordinator is sought to join a special projects organization focused on the renewables industry. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in project management and interfacing with a wide variety of stakeholders. In this role, you will collaborate with and assist a Senior Project Manager in a wide range of Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements.
- Identify potential risks, technical challenges, and develop solutions.
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information.
- Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
- Manage project-related paperwork, ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
- Direct project correspondence by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, and meeting minutes.
- Communicate with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on assigned projects.
- Validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements and review payment requests.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or a related field is required.
Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience managing project execution, including vendor and contractor coordination.

- Experience with documentation management and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification is preferred.
- A technical background with an understanding of mechanical or electrical aspects and field construction techniques.
- Experience with schedule management tools such as Smartsheet.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with SAP or Maximo software.
- Experience with budget and cost-tracking.
Work Environment
This is an office-based role located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Travel to project sites will be required up to 25% of the time. Driving will be a required part of position duties.
