Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Hybrid. Can work from home on Fridays)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Brand Merchandiser for a contract role. This position involves a balance of qualitative and quantitative data analysis to drive merchandising strategy. The role requires processing merchandising analysis on sales trends, projecting future trends based on market intelligence, identifying product opportunities, and estimating quantities for upcoming products.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze merchandising data to identify products that have sold well and are currently trending.
- Project future product trends by monitoring fashion events, industry publications, and online sources.
- Maintain a high taste level and a pulse on current and emerging trends.
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities within the market.
- Estimate demand and quantities needed for future products coming to market.
- Collaborate with product innovation and merchandising teams.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Merchandising Data Analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with product and consumer trends.
- Previous experience in the footwear and lifestyle apparel industry.
- Demonstrated communication skills and accountability to deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $32.00 and $38.00 per hour. Specific compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Benefits may be available to eligible employees.
