Key Responsibilities- Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for manufacturing software and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with shop floor control systems and related equipment.
- Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution and follow-up.
- Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and repair of workstations, printers, and mobile devices on the plant floor.
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors.
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting for connectivity issues affecting manufacturing operations.
Recommended Qualifications- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing-specific software (e.g., MES, SCADA).
- Familiarity with industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs) and their connectivity.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols relevant to factory floor operations.
- Ability to provide on-site technical support and remote assistance for production equipment.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices applicable to operational technology (OT) systems.
