Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Byron Center that are seeking skilled Help Desk Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for manufacturing software and hardware issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to production machinery and equipment.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution and maintain accurate records.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals on the factory floor.
• Assist with network connectivity issues impacting manufacturing operations.
• Provide user training and support for new systems and applications within the production environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to provide technical support for specialized manufacturing software (e.g., MES, SCADA).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for user support.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems or other manufacturing control systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS).
• Basic understanding of PLC functionality or industrial automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with specialized manufacturing software or hardware.
