SAP Project Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to oversee and drive the success of large-scale IT projects within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires an experienced, detail-oriented individual with a strategic mindset, capable of managing complex project scopes, optimizing resources, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Based in Carrollton, Georgia, the position offers an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and alignment with technical quality standards.
Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, and subcontractor management to optimize performance and meet objectives.
Develop and implement robust methodologies for project management, using industry best practices to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to address deviations from plans.
Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, third-party vendors, and internal teams to ensure clarity on project goals and expectations.
Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing to achieve project milestones.
Analyze project data to generate actionable insights, recommending improvements to optimize delivery and outcomes.
Mentor and coach less experienced team members, supporting their detail-oriented growth and development within the organization.
Advise senior management on project progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations to enhance success.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards throughout project execution.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on SAP or ERP systems.
Certification such as PMP or an equivalent credential.
Strong expertise in project scheduling, risk management, and resource planning.
Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and other project management methodologies.
Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project and Salesforce Development.
Advanced skills in API development, configuration management, and client-side scripting.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder interactions.
