Job#: 3031215 Job Description:We're supporting a large, complex enterprise environment undergoing continued application modernization and cloud adoption. This role is designed for a senior-level engineer who enjoys working across full-stack systems, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise-scale applications where stability, security, and performance are critical.
This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute directly to production systems and collaborate closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
What You'll Work On
You'll help design, enhance, and support highly complex applications used in a mission-critical setting. Responsibilities include building new features, improving performance, supporting cloud-based deployments, and resolving production issues as they arise.
Work spans backend services, APIs, databases, and modern web UI components. You'll also contribute to documentation, testing, and ongoing improvements to development standards and practices.
Core Technical Requirements
- 5+ years building full-stack applications using Java (Spring/Hibernate) alongside modern front-end or server-side technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, and/or Node.js, with strong experience designing RESTful APIs.
- Strong hands-on experience delivering solutions on AWS, working across a broad range of services spanning compute, storage, networking, security, messaging, monitoring, and serverless, supporting scalable, production-grade systems.
- Extensive experience with relational databases, including Oracle and PostgreSQL, with hands-on PL/SQL development and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps and modern delivery practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, within agile development environments.
- Strong foundation in software design patterns and engineering best practices, with exposure to AI/ML concepts a plus; AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner or Developer) preferred.
