Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee in-store interior installation projects for convenience retail locations in Burbank, California. This is a Contract position focused on coordinating materials, supporting installation schedules, and ensuring each site is set up correctly and professionally. The person in this role will work closely with vendors and installers, travel to nearby store locations, and help keep projects moving smoothly from delivery through final walkthrough.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate interior store improvement projects, including decorative wall elements, signage, and related in-store fixtures.
Manage shipment timing and delivery logistics so materials arrive at each location according to project schedules.
Attend on-site installations and walkthroughs to monitor progress, answer questions, and support successful execution.
Direct installers during setup to confirm each item is placed accurately and secured properly.
Communicate with vendors, installers, and project stakeholders to maintain alignment on timelines and site needs.
Track multiple store projects at different stages and keep work organized across nearby retail locations.
Review completed installations and verify that finished work meets visual and placement expectations.
Travel to assigned store sites using a reliable personal vehicle and manage mileage reporting for business-related travel.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience managing projects in construction, event setup, retail installation, or a closely related environment.
Demonstrated ability to organize moving parts across multiple locations while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience working with external vendors, installers, or field teams in a detail-focused setting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction on-site and follow up effectively.
Reliable transportation for travel to store locations within the surrounding region.
Working knowledge of project management practices and coordination across cross-functional teams.
Background in formal project management is preferred; PMP certification is a plus.
Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or event coordination environments is helpful.
