Location: Fully remote anywhere in the United States.
Employment Type: 7-month contract with a possibility to extend.
Role Overview
This position is for a Data Engineer who will develop and operationalize data pipelines to make data available for consumption in reports and advanced analytics. The role involves data ingestion, transformation, validation, quality assurance, pipeline optimization, and orchestration. The candidate will also engage with DevSecOps Engineers during continuous integration and deployment.
These Data Engineers will support critical initiatives. These efforts require dedicated capacity to ensure timely delivery, reduce risks, and maintain the quality of our data integration and platform support.
Expanding the team will enable us to meet growing business demands and position us for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand data extract requirements from the data analysts
- Build ETL processes Snowflake and Teradata to achieve the desired result
- Analyze the data set requested for and report any data quality or observations with the third-party entity and internal team
- Write complex SQLs to analyze data sets for various standard extracts
- Understand complex data mappings to find issues and help developers to fix the same
- Performance measure: should be able to handle active projects and multiple priorities
- Unique opportunity to support critical initiatives at the client.
- Help our customers and vendors with appropriate data needs to server our members effectively.
- DnA Business Unit for Various one List initiatives.
- There will be weekly support until you are up and running per the managers.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Requires 1+ years of related experience with SQL.
Technical Skills:- Excellent Analytical skills with sound SQL and ETL knowledge
- Problem solving nature with Data experience preferably in HealthCare
- Owning and delivering the tasks with minimal help
Preferred Qualifications
- Talend/Informatia ETL or Datawarehouse background or Snowflake/Teradata with Cloud tools is nice to have.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $55.00 per hour. Please note that this is a contract position, and visa sponsorship is not provided.
