Role Description:
As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a bidirectional integration project. You will collaborate closely with a lead developer, working side-by-side to capture, document, and refine requirements from stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include translating these requirements into actionable agile artifacts, such as user stories and epics, ensuring that all project needs are clearly defined and prioritized. You will also be responsible for tracking the overall progress of the project, identifying potential roadblocks, and providing regular status updates to keep all parties informed.
To excel in this position, you should have hands-on experience with ServiceNow, particularly in environments focused on agile delivery and iterative development. Familiarity tools and processes such as requirements gathering, test generation, story and epic management, and release tracking will be highly beneficial. Strong client communication skills are essential, as you will be the primary point of contact for clarifying needs and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Experience in managing agile artifacts and facilitating smooth collaboration between technical and business teams will help you drive successful outcomes in this dynamic role.
Responsibilities:
· Partner with the lead developer to deliver a ServiceNow bidirectional integration project
· Gather and document detailed requirements from stakeholders and clients
· Translate requirements into agile artifacts, including user stories and epics
· Manage and track stories, epics, and releases throughout the project lifecycle
· Facilitate effective client communication to clarify requirements and provide project updates
· Generate and manage test cases to ensure solution quality
· Monitor project progress, provide regular status updates, and identify potential roadblocks
· Support agile delivery processes and contribute to continuous improvement of project workflows
· Hands‑on experience working within the ServiceNow platform
· Understanding of ServiceNow data models, integrations, and workflow capabilities
· Familiarity with ServiceNow agile/SDLC environments
· Strong requirements‑gathering and documentation skills
· Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and epics
· Experience defining acceptance criteria and managing agile artifacts
· Skilled in managing and tracking requirements through the full project lifecycle
· Experience working in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
· Competency with backlog management, and prioritization
· Experience generating test cases from requirements
· Ability to support validation, functional testing, and defect management
