Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Muskegon that are seeking Metrology Technicians. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on measurement equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning metrology instruments.
  • Develop and implement calibration procedures in accordance with industry standards.
  • Analyze measurement data to ensure accuracy and identify trends.
  • Maintain detailed calibration records and documentation.
  • Provide technical support and training to production personnel on measurement techniques.
  • Assist in the selection and evaluation of new measurement equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associates degree in a technical field (e.g., Metrology, Machining, Engineering Technology) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality or metrology role.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, including GD&T.
  • Demonstrated experience operating and programming CMMs, vision systems, or other automated inspection equipment.
  • Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration, and uncertainty.
  • Ability to use and calibrate a wide range of manual measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gages).
