Employment Type: Long Term Contract (W2 hourly)
Levels/Pay Rates:- P2: $75-85/hr
- P3: $90-100/hr.
- P4: $105-115/hr.
**Experience must coincide with desired hourly rate*MUST HAVES:- Ability to obtain and maintain a Interim Secret Clearance (willing to sponsor)
- Bachelor's and 5-15+ Years of Experience including hands-on experience with the integration and debug of FPGA/ASIC devices
- FPGA/ASIC design (VHDL coding) or FPGA/ASIC verification (SystemVerilog coding with UVM).
- Experience with Xilinx or Microsemi devices and flow tools.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in FPGA development or verification for the Effector Digital Products department. In this role, you will develop and verify FPGA designs for all major vendors and device families, including Xilinx, Altera, and Microsemi. You will work with circuit card designers and systems engineers to develop requirements, architect new parts, and support projects from requirements definition through integration and test.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver production-quality FPGA releases from concept to production.
- Architect FPGA-based systems to determine parts, interfaces, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
- Translate system-level requirements into FPGA requirements.
- Design and code in VHDL with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
- Verify designs using self-checking techniques with directed and constrained random tests, while tracking functional and code coverage.
- Drive projects and execute to program schedules on time and budget.
- Create complete documentation, including requirements, verification plans, and user guides.
- Support internal and external technical reviews.
Required Qualifications
Clearance:- Ability to attain Special Program Access (SAP) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- FPGA design experience in radar processing or image processing techniques.
- Experience with embedded systems design using ARM, Microblaze, or Nios processors.
- Experience with gigabit serial interfaces and multi-gigabit transceivers (MGTs).
- Experience with constrained random verification in UVM using SystemVerilog.
- Experience with verification utilizing emulation platforms, such as Veloce.
