Role Overview
This role involves the development and execution of a system safety program as defined by Mil-Std-882. The position supports the manufacturing and testing of electronic assemblies, requiring expertise in root-cause corrective action investigations and the ability to interpret complex technical documentation. This is an on-site position at a client facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses such as Preliminary Hazard Analysis, Subsystem & System Hazard Analysis, and Operating and Support Hazard Analysis.
- Perform Functional Hazard Analysis, Requirements Hazard Analysis, and Hazard Tracking.
- Support digital, analog, RF, and/or mixed-signal testing and debugging of complex circuit card assemblies and electro-mechanical systems.
- Lead and participate in Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
- Provide manufacturing and test support for electronic assemblies.
- Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, and power supplies.
- Interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience is required.
Security Clearance: A U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required to start.
Technical Skills:- Experience with testing and/or debugging digital, analog, RF, or mixed-signal circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations.
- Proven experience in manufacturing/test support of electronic assemblies.
- Proficiency with standard lab equipment.
- Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DOD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior production support engineering experience.
- Experience in the electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystems.
- Familiarity with tools such as Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, HFSS, or ADS.
- Experience with subsystems integration and test, post-test flight analysis, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Experience with technical writing, formal presentations, and implementing Engineering Change Notices.
- Capability to work independently and provide technical oversight, cost estimation, and reporting.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DOD secret clearance.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00/hour to $115.70/hour. A contractor work week of 9/80 is applicable. Specific benefits packages are available to eligible employees.
