Description Business Intelligence AnalystLocation: Fully Remote (New Haven, CT)
Employment Type: 3-Month Contract to Permanent
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. This role works closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver insights that inform strategy, operations, and performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical foundation, sound business judgment, and the ability to operate with minimal oversight in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders and functional teams to translate high-level objectives into analytical and reporting solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models that support both strategic and operational decision-making
- Interpret complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the organization
- Provide guidance on data usage, definitions, and best practices to ensure consistency and reliability
- Support data quality initiatives, validation efforts, and continuous improvement of reporting processes
- Perform ad hoc analysis and provide executive-ready insights as business needs evolve
- Communicate findings clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to longer-term analytics and reporting roadmaps as needed
Requirements Qualifications- Demonstrated experience in business intelligence, analytics, or enterprise reporting roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through ambiguous or loosely defined requirements
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and provide consultative insight, not just reports
- Comfortable working across multiple data sources and business domains
- Experience operating independently in a fully remote environment
- Exposure to modern BI tools, data platforms, or reporting technologies is preferred, but not required
