Salary Range: $69,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Lansing that are seeking Test Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for manufacturing processes and products.
• Develop and implement automated test scripts for efficiency and repeatability.
• Analyze test data, identify trends, and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve product and process defects.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Participate in design reviews to provide testability and quality input.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages for test automation (e.g., Python, C#, LabVIEW).
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement test plans, procedures, and fixtures for complex electromechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques for process improvement.
• Experience with various testing methodologies, including functional, in-circuit, environmental, and stress testing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with a variety of test equipment and sensors (e.g., accelerometers, load cells, vision systems).
• Familiarity with data acquisition systems and software (e.g., LabVIEW, Python for data analysis).
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality methodologies.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for test execution.
