Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join our Global Financial Crimes technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in full-stack Java and Angular development and a proven ability to deliver scalable, high-performance, and secure applications that meet defined business acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain end-to-end applications in the Global Financial Crimes domain.


• Collaborate with business partners to refine requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met.


• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code and conduct thorough unit and integration testing.


• Diagnose and resolve defects and performance bottlenecks in data-intensive services.


• Partner with multiple technology teams to implement target architecture and migrate to strategic platforms.


• Contribute as an individual contributor within Agile teams and participate in code reviews and sprint ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of full-stack experience in Java end-to-end application development.


• 4+ years of hands-on Angular experience.


• Strong Core Java, multithreading, Collections API, JDBC, and use of Java profiling tools.


• Expertise in performance tuning for data-intensive applications.


• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills with an innovation mindset.


• Effective communication skills and ability to work across teams.


• Experience delivering software using Agile methodologies and processes.


• Background in enterprise stress testing.


• Knowledge of Elastic, Hadoop, Teradata, or similar big data distributed ecosystems.


• Understanding of cloud or distributed computing concepts.


• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial crimes, risk, or compliance technology domains.


• Hands-on exposure to AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud platforms.
