Job Description:
Job Role: PEGA - Admin/Ops Support
Contract Duration: 12+ Months Contract Role
Location: Charlotte, NC
Responsible for providing administrative and operational support for PEGA and Appian infrastructure with VMs and OpenShift architecture.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and proactively identifying infrastructure issues.
Ensure application's Infrastructure availability is not compromised and propose engineering solutions to improve stability, sustainability and resiliency.
Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and deliverables for impacted business and technology groups.
Engage stakeholders and project teams with preparation and timely delivery of critical artifacts.
Deliver clear and timely communications to impacted stakeholders.
Guide teams to access risk with mitigations plans and escalate appropriately.
Identify change controls and communicate risks and rewards associated with decisions and actions to stakeholders.
Ensure SLAs are met and escalate issues that require immediate attention.
Ensures compliance with corporate change standards and procedures, including maintenance of Systems of Record and delivery of quality project artifacts.
Actively engage and lead product support issues and incidents.
Experience with OpenShift, PEGA, Appian, Linux, Java, SQL and Oracle
Experience with Shell scripting.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Minimum 5 years of experience with managing application's infrastructure and support.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead role in Information Technology.
Experience with OpenShift, Dynatrace, Splunk, Linux, Shell
Experience with WebSphere, Tomcat and Oracle
Experience with Python
System Architect and Administration - PEGA and Appian
Working knowledge with OpenShift/Containers.
Experience and/or certification with Pega Designer Studio
Automation skills to reduce manual activities
Proven team player who can work comfortably in a multicultural environment
Proven ability to work independently, multi task and effectively work in a complex environment with a global team structure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong influencer, facilitator, and collaborator.
Detail oriented and organized
