To be considered for this foundational appointment, candidates must demonstrate a rare fusion of forensic technical precision and visionary creative leadership. We are seeking an architect who does more than write code; you must possess the product intuition to synthesize complex user journeys into polished, high-performance mobile experiences while establishing the engineering standards for a growing department.

Please carefully review the core requirements, as we are prioritizing individuals with a proven track record of navigating the "zero-to-one" phase of development and the leadership maturity to define a world-class mobile culture from the ground up.

The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a visionary Founding iOS Architect | Engineer to spearhead the creation of a premier mobile ecosystem from its very first line of code. This is a high-impact, greenfield opportunity to architect the technical framework and user journey for a rapidly scaling platform that bridges high-end hospitality with digital accessibility.

As the lead mobile authority, you will not just execute tasks; you will define the engineering culture and technical standards for a product that reaches millions. This role is designed for a technical leader who possesses a sharp product intuition and the desire to build a "gold standard" mobile experience within a high-growth, energetic environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect the end-to-end iOS infrastructure, including state management, networking layers, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a robust foundation for future scale.

  • Engineer sophisticated native interfaces using modern frameworks to facilitate seamless discovery, reservation, and post-transaction user flows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership in Product and Design to translate complex business requirements into elegant, high-performance mobile solutions.

  • Influence the overarching mobile roadmap, identifying unique opportunities where native mobile capabilities can provide a competitive edge over web platforms.

  • Synthesize efficient API contracts in partnership with backend teams to guarantee app responsiveness and data integrity.

  • Optimize every facet of the application, from initial launch speed and smooth animations to offline functionality and error resilience.

  • Establish rigorous technical benchmarks through proactive code reviews, comprehensive testing strategies, and disciplined observability practices.

  • Cultivate a world-class mobile engineering department by mentoring future hires and setting the tone for a collaborative, high-craft culture.

What You Bring

  • Extensive Experience: At least 5 years of professional iOS development history, specifically focused on high-traffic, consumer-centric applications.

  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level command of Swift and deep familiarity with both SwiftUI and UIKit.

  • Architectural Leadership: Proven track record of designing and maintaining complex mobile architectures at scale.

  • Product Sensibility: A keen eye for UI/UX detail and the ability to balance rapid feature delivery with long-term code health.

  • Full-Stack Awareness: Comfort working alongside backend engineers on data schemas, MongoDB/Postgres environments, and AWS infrastructure.

  • Operational Excellence: Dedication to modern DevOps practices for mobile, including automated testing (XCTest) and robust deployment workflows.

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Location/Commitment: Ability to work from our vibrant Greater New York City hub four days per week.
