Description Scrum Master / Program Coordinator (Technical Documentation)
Location: Austin, TX 78758
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT (occasional evening calls may be required)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Scrum Master / Program Coordinator to support cross-functional delivery initiatives through Agile facilitation, program management, and technical documentation leadership. This hybrid role combines delivery enablement, operational backlog management, and knowledge curation to improve team velocity and ensure product clarity across multiple stakeholder groups.
The ideal candidate brings strong Agile facilitation experience, operational process excellence, and the ability to translate complex initiatives into actionable plans and accessible technical documentation. This position plays a critical role in aligning delivery teams, improving workflow sustainability, and supporting enterprise reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation & Backlog Management
- Serve as Scrum Master, facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to manage and prioritize product backlogs.
- Drive delivery velocity and support teams in achieving sprint commitments.
- Operate Agile backlog tools to triage, prioritize, and resolve operational items.
Program Coordination & Delivery Support
- Lead program coordination for operational and delivery initiatives.
- Track cross-functional dependencies and ensure milestone alignment.
- Coordinate end-to-end partner engagement pipelines including reviews and enablement events.
- Consolidate reporting across systems to provide leadership with accurate program visibility.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and release notes.
- Audit, update, and curate internal knowledge resources (wikis, runbooks).
- Ensure process documentation remains clear, current, and accessible.
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop executive-ready reporting summarizing program progress.
- Support communications aligned to internal updates and external narratives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support progress toward key organizational targets
Requirements Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in program coordination, operations, or project delivery.
- Experience working within Agile environments.
- Strong backlog tool experience.
- Demonstrated operational excellence across processes and workflows.
- Excellent organization and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile practitioner background (SAFe or equivalent).
- Business process consulting experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Experience in consulting or technology delivery environments.
