SAP Finance Training & Enablement Consultant (FICO)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Training & Enablement Consultant to lead a critical training rescue initiative supporting a large-scale SAP transformation program. This role requires a highly motivated and self-sufficient professional who can quickly assess existing training materials, identify gaps, develop high-quality content, and deliver effective end-user training in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in SAP FICO, strong instructional design capabilities, and experience supporting enterprise SAP implementations. This individual must be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and partnering directly with business stakeholders to drive user adoption and training success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute a SAP training rescue project, assessing current training assets and rapidly developing improvement plans.
• Create, update, and maintain comprehensive training materials, including:
  • Instructor-led training content
  • End-user guides
  • Job aids
  • Quick reference materials
  • Process documentation
  • eLearning content where applicable
• Design and deliver engaging training programs for business users and stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Project teams to understand business processes and training requirements.
• Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions for various user audiences.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities by creating test scripts, training users on testing procedures, and assisting with issue identification and resolution.
• Drive user readiness and change adoption initiatives throughout project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project leadership to identify training risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders regarding training effectiveness and user adoption strategies.
• Work effectively under aggressive timelines and rapidly changing project priorities.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP training, instructional design, or organizational change management experience.
• Strong functional background in SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling).
• Proven experience creating training content from scratch for SAP implementations or transformation programs.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Experience facilitating training for business users, managers, and executive stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience supporting SAP User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing consulting experience.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Procure-to-Pay (P2P/PTP) business processes and SAP implementations.
• Prior experience within the Media, Entertainment, Publishing, or Advertising industries.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
• Exposure to change management methodologies and user adoption programs.
• Experience developing blended learning strategies utilizing instructor-led, self-paced, and digital learning approaches.
