Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on measurement equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning metrology instruments.
• Develop and implement calibration procedures in accordance with industry standards.
• Analyze measurement data and generate calibration certificates.
• Maintain accurate records of all calibration activities and equipment history.
• Assist engineers in therology-related problem-solving and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 17025, AS9100).

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in dimensional metrology within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating and programming CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and other measurement equipment (e.g., optical comparators, calipers, micrometers).
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles and their application.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with calibration processes and maintaining measurement equipment accuracy.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with automated measurement systems (e.g., CMM programming and operation).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and application.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis for quality improvement.
• ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification.
• Proficiency in CAD software for model-based inspection and analysis.
