StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-caliber, leadership-ready Civil Land Development Engineer to spearhead the growth and operational management of a newly established regional office in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. This pivotal dual-function role blends strategic branch leadership with sophisticated, hands-on site design and engineering consultancy.

As a foundational leader in this expanding location, you will directly influence business trajectory, champion technical execution, and cultivate a high-performing engineering team from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion comprehensive land development consulting initiatives, serving as the primary strategic advisor to clients from project inception through completion.

  • Drive the growth, mentorship, and day-to-day operations of a multidisciplinary team of engineering professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-energy culture.

  • Cultivate enduring, trust-based relationships with key clients, acting as the principal liaison and ensuring unparalleled service delivery.

  • Architect intricate site designs and oversee advanced technical workflows to guarantee the highest caliber of engineering accuracy.

  • Navigate complex regulatory frameworks to secure municipal, state, and environmental construction permits across diverse market sectors.

  • Direct full project lifecycles, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks align seamlessly with organizational goals.

What You Bring

  • Credentials: A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering paired with an active, valid Professional Engineer (P.E.) license issued by the State of Florida.

  • Professional Longevity: A robust tenure of 10 to 15 years within civil infrastructure, specifically focused on land development and site design.

  • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency utilizing design software platforms such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D, alongside comprehensive knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling applications.

  • Regulatory Acumen: A deep, comprehensive understanding of the Florida land development approval process and permitting ecosystem across various sectors.

  • Communication Prowess: Articulate written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex technical data clearly to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

  • Logistics & Readiness: Ability to work full-time on-site in the Greater Fort Lauderdale region, with the flexibility for minimal regional travel (under 10%) and the ability to successfully pass standard pre-employment vetting.
