Pay Range: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour. Specific compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
Position Description:Our CyberSecurity Tech Engineering group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer with deep expertise in Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager. In this role, you'll help design, maintain, and optimize enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions, supporting global security infrastructure for a major financial services organization.
You'll act as the technical expert for Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager, lead integration efforts with security platforms, contribute to architecture and design initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, and collaborate closely with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, self-motivated, and passionate about building secure, scalable, and resilient cybersecurity ecosystems.
Qualifications:- Highly proficient in the architecture, design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager.
- Ability to provide on-call support for major outages related to Strata Cloud Manager.
- Experience acting as a liaison to Palo Alto Support, translating technical issues and driving resolutions.
- Strong background in cybersecurity solution integration, particularly with enterprise proxy systems.
- Experience supporting Broadcom Bluecoat Secure Web Gateway.
- Ability to design cybersecurity solutions aligned with use cases and business requirements.
- Experience performing proof-of-concept evaluations and recommending technologies.
- Understanding of:
- Security requirements development
- Architecture and design documentation
- Security control implementation
- Security testing for networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware/software components
- Strong capability to analyze cybersecurity data and test results.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication-comfortable engaging audiences ranging from IT admins to executive leadership.
- Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and position the right cybersecurity solutions.
- Self-driven, self-educating, and collaborative mindset.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
