Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production to optimize product manufacturability and resolve technical issues.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for new product introduction.
• Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and provide feedback to design teams to enhance product design for manufacturing.
• Perform process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges during pilot production and initial ramp-up phases.
• Manage BOMs, routings, and other manufacturing documentation for new products.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering roles.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, PADS) for PCB design and layout.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, DFM/DFA principles, and test methodologies.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to electronics manufacturing.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) for manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers or lead small project teams.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles as applied to manufacturing control systems.
