We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver enterprise-level IT projects focused on SDLC and application development initiatives. This role is responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects, driving execution across cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery within budget, schedule, and performance expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on project management experience with expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, exceptional documentation and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate technical and business stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, typically handling 3 5 active projects depending on scope and complexity
  • Lead SDLC and application-focused initiatives from planning through execution and delivery
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain detailed meeting minutes and transcripts
  • Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, timelines, and deliverables
  • Track project progress, budgets, estimates, and resource allocation
  • Maintain RAID logs including risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
  • Coordinate activities across internal IT teams, contractors, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Develop project scope definitions, cost estimates, schedules, and resource plans
  • Ensure adherence to project management standards, methodologies, and best practices
  • Drive effective utilization of SDLC methodologies and supporting infrastructure processes
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status effectively
  • Identify project risks and collaborate with teams on mitigation strategies
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project information repositories
  • Translate complex technical information into business-friendly communication for various audiences

Required Qualifications


  • Strong background in Information Technology with extensive experience managing SDLC and application development projects
  • Proven hands-on IT project management experience
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience with vendor management for IT projects
  • Strong leadership, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong documentation and reporting experience, including forecasting time, cost, resources, and labor estimates
  • Experience managing project budgets, milestones, RAID logs, and stakeholder communications

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience within the electric utility industry
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Smartsheets
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms
