Project Manager III

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a senior-level Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure-focused initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This role supports engineering-driven projects and is responsible for driving execution, governance, and delivery across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure and technical projects in a structured (waterfall) environment
* Manage project intake, planning, execution, and release coordination
* Drive core project management functions including risk tracking, issue management, lessons learned, and RACI documentation
* Coordinate across engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure alignment and progress
* Manage high-volume ticket-driven workflows and prioritize competing demands
* Facilitate communication, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
* Support implementation of technical initiatives such as automation, tooling, and infrastructure upgrades

REQUIREMENTS:
* PMP required
* Strong experience managing infrastructure, networking, data center, or security-related projects
* Proven experience in large enterprise environments
* Deep understanding of project management fundamentals and best practices
* Experience working in a waterfall delivery model
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail
* Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities

Additional Notes:
* This role supports projects owned by engineering teams (no full ownership of systems)
* Ideal candidates demonstrate long-term commitment in prior roles

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
