Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client looking for a Senior Vendor Relations Specialist. This role is hybrid, two days onsite in Greater Saint Louis, MO. This role is responsible for managing relationships with external hardware and software vendors, supporting contract administration, and serving as a trusted resource on vendor capabilities and marketplace offerings. The position works closely with internal teams to ensure vendor performance, resolve issues, and support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage relationships with external technology vendors, including hardware, software, and service providers
* Administer and support vendor contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and contracted labor agreements
* Monitor vendor performance and ensure services align with contractual obligations and expectations
* Serve as a resource on vendor offerings, options, and market trends (technology and beyond)
* Partner with vendors to resolve escalated issues and support planning for future product or software releases
* Support simple vendor negotiations within established guidelines
* Resolve vendor-related issues, complaints, or service gaps through collaboration and problem-solving
* Track progress and performance against more complex statements of work
* Provide guidance and recommendations related to vendor services, capabilities, and solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* A strong understanding of core IT tools, concepts, and processes within a specific technology area
* Ability to apply technical and business knowledge to moderately complex initiatives
* Working knowledge of how technology solutions impact business outcomes
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences
* Experience supporting projects by defining tasks, identifying risks, and recommending solutions
* Ability to estimate effort for smaller initiatives and support resource planning
* A customer-focused mindset, ensuring stakeholder needs are addressed through direct action or collaboration

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
