Pay Rate: $53 - $57Top Requirements:4+ years of Software Engineering experience with hands-on React, .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microservices.Strong experience designing and delivering modern application architectures, including REST APIs and distributed systems.Ability to lead moderately complex initiatives, provide technical direction, and act as an escalation point for delivery teams.Plusses:Experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and API integrations.Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps tooling (GitHub, Harness, OpenShift, Docker/Kubernetes).Strong Agile/Scrum experience using JIRA and Confluence.Experience creating proofs of concept, standards, and reusable frameworks.Job Summary:This Software Engineer 3 role supports moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives focused on
application modernization. The engineer will contribute to large-scale planning efforts, design and build scalable full-stack solutions using
React and .NET microservices, and guide technical execution aligned with enterprise standards.
The role requires strong hands-on development skills combined with technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration across peers and mid-level managers. The engineer will play a key role in delivering upgrades, deployments, and modernization initiatives while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and engineering best practices.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Lead and contribute to application modernization initiatives within technical domain environments.
- Design, develop, test, debug, and document React and .NET microservices and related components.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations using modern application architecture patterns.
- Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
- Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced developers.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and meet delivery goals.
- Participate in large-scale strategy planning and contribute to standard approaches, techniques, and process definitions.
- Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to evaluate and validate technical solutions.
- Ensure project documentation, standards, and deliverables are created and shared on time.
- Apply Agile principles, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and support continuous improvement.
- Continually learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and best practices.
