Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a self-motivated and organized Purchasing Coordinator. This role involves a combination of purchasing and inventory management for incoming and outgoing IT equipment. The position requires working onsite in a warehouse office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage incoming and outgoing IT equipment.
- Provide regular delivery status and ETA updates in ticketing systems and to local IT teams.
- Respond to email requests for status updates.
- Conduct stockroom reviews, including updating standard device types and models.
- Oversee inventory replenishment orders and report outdated models to leadership.
- Serve as a liaison between purchasing and local IT teams for stockroom quantity validation.
- Review potential request cancellations related to break/fix issues with IT leadership.
- Create incidents for break/fix replacements and notify local IT teams.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of one year of purchasing requisition experience is required.
Technical Skills: Experience with purchasing software or ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow or Workday, is necessary. A working knowledge of the purchase flow from requisition to receipt is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Inventory management experience.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
