The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Applications Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and equipment.
- Develop and implement solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies.
- Conduct testing and validation of application updates and deployments.
- Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing applications.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
- Proven ability to interpret technical specifications, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide effective technical solutions to customers.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CAD software is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems (PLCs, HMIs).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment (e.g., CNC machining, robotics).
- Certification in relevant engineering software or methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
