shutterstock_294489926 How do you create a personal brand that sets you apart from the chattering mass of recruiters that pursue top candidates? Allison Kruse, Senior Manager of Social Media Talent Acquisition for Kforce, addressed that topic head-on during her Dice Webinar last week: “How to Brand Yourself on Social to Attract Talent.” One of Allison’s tips: Be “profersonal.” In other words, let candidates see you as a human first, a recruiter second. Though your outreach message may not have made an emotional connection, your social profiles and the content you share can. Start with uploading a dynamic high-res, current image of yourself (just yourself). And don’t play hard-to-get. Make it easy for candidates to find your email, phone and links to all your social profiles. There are so many more tips in this webinar, including how to:

  • Design your digital presence
  • Establish a content strategy and easy-to-follow posting schedule (and how to sell the boss on why that’s a good use of your time)
  • Create outreach messages that get responses
  • Avoid the five biggest mistakes recruiters make when crafting messages

Check out the replay today and don’t miss the Q A session at the end, when Allison addresses some excellent questions from your recruiting peers:
